I did not like this wine at first, but it really grew on me. I agree that it is better if it is not too cold. Good value.
Lime, orange peel, vanilla, and biscuits on the nose. On the palate, the alcohol stands out a bit and it is a bit flabby. Excellent length though.
The 2010 Santa Carolina Chardonnay Reserva has nice aromas of pear and faint, fresh coffee bean. It has a yellowish color, resulting from being aged in French oak for 6 months, which also adds to the longer finish. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted Sept/11.

A tasty wine for under $10. If you're looking for an everyday Chardonnay that has seen some oak, this is go-to that won't hurt the wallet. Slightly warm, medium bodied, with tropical fruit and butterscotch notes.
