Opaque and dark purple in colour, it has pepper, chocolate and dark berries and a hint if heat from the 15% alcohol on the nose. Mostly dark fruit, with some spice and a hint of dark chocolate on the full bodied palate, with a little of the heat on the back end and good length. Tasted April 2013.
