My latest love!!! awesome but unfortunately hard to find now. Have just bought a case.
The 2008 Caliterra Tributo Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in American and French oak for 14 months, is full bodied, FRUITY to integrated wine, with intense aromas of ripe, dark berries - namely blackberry as well as green pepper, coconut and vanilla. It has a nice structure, with refined tannins (decant for 30 min) and a long finish. Though ready to drink now, it will benefit from ageing for the next 2-3 years and will cellar and gain in complexity for the next 5-10 years. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts - would be a recommended wine if it was still available, perhaps we'll see a re-release in the future. I am glad I managed to purchase the last available case at a discount of $9.95. Tasted Dec/11.
