Dark Ruby/purple. Cherry liqeuer, dark fruit, stewed fruit, chocolate, cedar, tobacco, earth. Medium weight with smooth tannin and medium acidity. Reasonable finish. Not overly complex but not bad. March 2011.

Deep ruby colour with a pink rim. Intense nose of black berry compote, oak, sweet spices, and a bit of black licorice. The palate is very fruit-forward with wound-up tannins and firm acidity. Medium+ length. Feb 2011.
