Nice nose, you can clearly pick up the cran/raspberry of the Cab Franc.
A touch of bricking appearing on the rim.
On the palate: medium, almost light bodied, a bit thin for a Merlot really. Some nice clean fruit flavours, some wood and leafiness. Not a lot of ripeness or concentration but plenty of acidity. A bit out of balance I'd say.
Tasty enough but disappointing for $24.

Very smoky and spicy not my style, prominent bricking on the the edges
Last bottle: drank 6/16/2017, lots of sediment and flavours have mellowed quite a bit, more enjoyable now. Sad this winery is under new ownership, this was a promising windy with loads of potential
