Deen De Bortoli Vat 8 Shiraz 2008 - Expert wine ratings and wine reviews by WineAlign
A well structured balanced shiraz which is a step up from the 2007 vintage with its earthy smoky black cherry fruit...
Deen De Bortoli Vat 8 Shiraz 2008, Southeastern Australia
Deep ruby in colour, the nose shows fruity aromas of brambleberry, vanilla, tar and smoke. Medium to full-bodied, generous with hints of tar and smoke on the aftertaste.
Rack of lamb, grilled tenderloin.

Blackberry, black cherry and spices on the nose. The wine has plenty of ripe fruit and ripe tannins, is medium-bodied, and very well balanced.
Perfect wine when you want to play it safe during a Christmas party with lots of people with different tastes. Was very well received by my guests. I found it pleasant to drink. Nice dry Shiraz. Tried in December 2011.
