We'll start our round-up with the Santa Brigida '01, a blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon with a fresh nose of balsam and wild herbs mingling with ripe cherry and plum fruit. The expansive entry in the mouth is excellent and the tannins mesh well with the body, taking you through to a fine finish with good ageing prospects. Score - 2 Glasses (out of 3).
