Black cherry and raspberry aromas precede rich, full and sweet flavors underpinned by notably finer tannins but interestingly, this is actually less complex than the Gevrey villages. However, the underlying material here is first rate and I expect that additional depth will come with time in bottle and I particularly like the punch and vivacity. Outstanding!
