The 2007 Trascampanas Verdejo rose above the crowd in my tastings. Medium straw-colored with a green tint, it offers up a super-expressive nose of fresh herbs, baking spices, citrus, and floral notes. On the palate melon, peach, mineral, and lemon-lime flavors emerge. Creamy and deep, this impeccably balanced, vibrant wine will provide pleasure over the next three years.Drink: 2009-2012.
