Very impressive Syrah with a perfumed aroma that's a mix of floral/violets, red berry, white and black pepper characters. The wine shows impressive power with a very lengthy finish. It has a great texture - silky and linear. The wine has a classy oak influence that supports and flatters fruit flavour. Clearly the best Syrah ever made in Gisborne. Score - 94.
