(Translated from the Italian) Founded in 1961, La Cantina Valle Isarco is the youngest winery in Alto Adige. Talented cellarmaster Thomas Dorfmann is the reason for the consistent quality here. He crafts aromatic, fresh and pure wines with good varietal character, which offer superb value for money in the estate's entry-level wines, and great character, structure and longevity in its flagship Aristos line. We find a whole assortment of great whites in their portfolio: Sylvaner, Müller Thurgau, Kerner, Veltliner, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Grigio. Score - 2 Glasses (out of 3).
