Bordeaux by way of the Peloponnese, this is elegant, restrained agiorgitiko (a.k.a. Saint George) shaped and scented by cabernet sauvignon's lead pencil aromas and firm tannins. A touch of smoky oak adds polish, but not so much as to cover up the warm, cherry-red fruit and forest floor fragrance.
