Casa Emma Chianti Classico 2007 - Expert wine ratings and wine reviews by WineAlign
This is a generous, mid-weight, juicy sangiovese that's already showing some maturity. Expect lifted redcurrant, sour...
Light intensity, firm, dusty, juicy acid and medium-bodied. In short, a decent rustic country red that is perfectly...
Casa Emma Chianti Classico 2007, Docg
Traditionally styled Chianti Classico, featuring a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Malvasia Nera. The wine offers aromas of cherry, plum, hint of tomato leaf and berry notes. Dry and generous with a rich berry-extract flavour. Finishes well with a good intensity. Can improve with age (2-4 years), but it’s lovely right now. Enjoy it tonight with roast leg of lamb or grilled steaks. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2009)
