The Smiths have been stone fruit growers for over a century on this 100-acre Raleigh Township farm. The estate falls gracefully from its limestone and granite gravel ridge to meet the north shore of Lake Erie. Thirty years ago the first vines were planted in old lakebed soils and in 2005 the winery doors opened. Now, from a selection of over 20 varieties of traditional and experimental varieties, winemaker George Smith produces vintages of exceptional quality from this very special site. The tasting room overlooks 50 acres of vineyards and the "Ruins of Cedar Springs" while Lake Erie shimmers in the background. Come experience the flavour that the North Shore nurtures.
