Evan Keaschuk

Grew up in a family that understood the beauty of a tasty bottle of wine at the table shared with loved ones. After years working in private wine stores in Alberta and later with the LCBO in order to pay for a university education, I came to the realization that work in the wine industry was what would make me happy. Currently working in the restaurant industry in Ottawa.

Always looking for the next bottle of wine that truly excites me. While I'll always enjoy a big Napa Cab or expensive white Burgundy, I'm more excited by wines that I know little about. My true loves are riesling and sherry of all styles, red Cotes-du-Rhone, and Chinon. I'd much rather continue to try every wine I can though. Variety is the spice of life.
