    <P> <h3>Breaking News: Tentative Deal Reached In <span class="caps">LCBO</span> Talks </h3> <BR> <p>A tentative deal has been reached in the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> talks, avoiding a strike that would have shut down or restricted access to some liquor stores in the province. Talks had been extended since a midnight deadline passed on Wednesday. Via Citynews.ca<br /> <hr></p> <P> <h3>Breaking News &#8211; Strike Deadline Extended to June 24th in <span class="caps">LCBO</span> Contract Talks </h3> <BR> <p>The Ontario Public Service Employees Union and the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> have agreed to an extension on the strike deadline that had been set for 12:01am. June 24.<br /> <hr> <br /> <h2>WineAlign Announces Free Services During <span class="caps">LCBO</span> Strike</h2><br /> As of Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 12:01am employees of the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> are in a legal strike position. According <span class="caps">LCBO</span> spokesman, Chris Layton, the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> intends to deploy management staff to keep some stores open in the event of a strike.</p> <p>With <span class="caps">LCBO</span> management running select <span class="caps">LCBO</span> stores, consumers can expect there will be limited staffing and no Product Consultants to help consumers with their wine selections. While our service could never replace the expertise of the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> staff, WineAlign can help you make smart, informed purchasing decisions.</p> <p>In order to help consumers cope with the <span class="caps">LCBO</span> strike WineAlign is implementing two initiatives:</p> <p>Throughout the strike period, WineAlign will be offering access to our premium service with detailed critics’ reviews <B><span class="caps">FREE</span> OF <span class="caps">CHARGE</span>.</B>*</p> <p>By the end of the day Wednesday, and dependent on information provided by the <span class="caps">LCBO</span>, WineAlign will also provide consumers with the ability to find wine at stores that are <b>open that day</b> as management rotates through stores.</p> <h2>Together these changes will enable consumers to find top rated wine, in any price range, in stock, at the store that is currently open closest to them.</H2> <BR> <p>WineAlign processes thousands of wine reviews and thousands of wines to create ranked lists of the top rated wines available in stock at your local <span class="caps">LCBO</span>.
