Nadia Fournier has been tasting and assessing wine as a critic and partner at WineAlign.com since 2013. In her native Quebec, she is mostly known as the author of Le Guide du Vin, an institution in the realm of Canadian wine guides, created in 1981 by wine-critic Michel Phaneuf. She has been the sole author of this perennial best-seller since 2011.

Nadia Fournier is a weekly contributor to L’actualité, a Canadian French-language news and general interest magazine which has over a million readers. She has a weekly column in Journal de Montreal and also contributed to Exquis and Wine & Spirits Magazine. In addition to writing, Nadia Fournier is co-host of the Méchants Raisins podcast. She can been seen occasionally on television and heard on French national broadcaster Radio-Canada.

Curious and adventurous by nature, Nadia has spent an important part of her writing career travelling the planet in search of new delicious wines, unknown varietals and exciting stories which together make the world of wine so fascinating. Her passion for deliciousness spans to gastronomy and agriculture, as well as tea, salt, honey and all foods that can translate the taste of a terroir.
